The Tone Tomšič Academic Choir (APZ) is the oldest student choir in Slovenia and one of the most important choral and cultural institutions in Slovenia. An exhibition will be opened in the open-air gallery on the Gallus embankment on July 27 at 6:00 p.m., which will offer an insight into its century-long history.

Throughout its history, the choir stands out as a permanent artistic force, receives the highest choral awards and is famous for its innovative programs and collaboration with Slovenian composers. It brings together people with broad views and extremely talented individuals who co-created its artistic identity. That is why the choir is of vital importance for Slovenian cultural heritage.

The exhibition will offer a walk through the generations of singers – for past and present members of the choir and for all random passers-by, who will be absorbed by the energy and liveliness of the photos and their century-old story.

It will be on display until August 27, 2026.
